Anti-Tension Scars are usually linear scars that cross the relaxed skin tension lines (RSTL) of the face or body. As a result, they may be hypertrophic but often are largely visible simply because they are in an 'unnatural' location and do not lie parallel to the normal skin lines and wrinkles.
